I built a niche invoicing tool for Indian freelancers with GST compliance built-in. No VC funding, no co-founder, just a problem I personally experienced and a weekend to validate it.
The Numbers
Month 1: 5 paying customers at ₹499/mo. Month 6: 180 customers at ₹799/mo. The key was laser focus on one problem for one specific audience, not building for everyone.
